A high-performance Bounce Inspector that enables your .NET applications to easily inspect
and categorize bounced email messages
with a few lines of code. Bounce Inspector can scan EML messages
loaded from many sources such as local files, memory stream, IMAP mailbox, and POP3 mailbox
The inspection result can be used to update email address lists, create email campaign reports, etc.
The component is included in the following suites which are bundles that include many additional .NET components:
High-performance and reliable Bounce Inspector
When it comes to performance and reliability, Ultimate Bounce Inspector component for .NET, outperforms all similar components on the market. In our performance test, BounceInspector takes only 10 to 20 milliseconds on average (Console Application running on a 2.4GHz PC with 1GB RAM) to scan a bounced e-mail message.
In addition, the bounce signature database is regularly updated and you can get the updates by simply downloading and installing our new versions.
If you encounter any unrecognized bounced email messages, please do not hesistate to send us your bounced email messages to firstname.lastname@example.org or use our Feedback form to send your concerns to us.
We will provide you a hot-fix containing new bounce signatures that recognize the bounced email messages you sent us within 1 business day.
Ultimate Bounce Inspector is also included in the following suites which are bundles that include many additional .NET components:
Supports EML file format
When designing the Bounce Inspector component, we mainly forcus on ease-of-use, performance, reliability, and flexibility. As a benefit, you only need a single line of code to scan thousands of bounced EML messages on local disk and get the accurate inspection result.
You can either specify the path to the directory containing EML files or a list of EML file names to scan. BounceInspector will do all the hard works for you.
The Ultimate Bounce Inspector also supports MIME and S/MIME, providing your applications the ability to encrypt, decrypt, sign, and validate email messages.
Supports scanning IMAP and POP3 mailboxes
BounceInspector not only supports handling EML files, but it also supports scanning messages downloaded from IMAP or POP3 server. With this component, you can decide whether to download messages from the server to local disk or to memory stream to speed up your application performance.
It also includes many convenient events which help you filter messages to be downloaded and inspected, providing your application with the greatest flexibility and high-performance.
Sending inspection report with SMTP classes
In addition to supporting downloading email messages from IMAP and POP3 servers, BounceInspector also includes SMTP classes which is essential for you when you need to send inspection report to your email address.
The setup packages comes with full source code web sample projects which illustrate how to use this feature.
Supports HTTP Connect, SOCKS4, SOCKS4A & SOCKS5 Proxy Servers
Ultimate Bounce Inspector provides full support for Proxy Servers such as HTTP CONNECT,
SOCKS4, SOCKS4A, and SOCKS5. By simply setting a few properties, you are
able to scan email messages downloaded from IMAP and POP3 servers through the desired proxy server, providing
your application with the greatest flexibility and highest level of security available.
Support for IPv6, the next generation Internet protocol
IPv6 (Internet Protocol version 6), the next-generation protocol designed by the IETF (Internet Engineering Task Force),
will gradually replace the current version of the Internet Protocol, IPv4.
With Ultimate Bounce Inspector Component, users have an integrated service assurance solution that
will provide them with IMAP, POP3, SMTP, and Proxy capabilities in mixed IPv4 and IPv6 environments.
This helps organizations with the adoption of and the transition to IPv6 by making the management of such networks seamless.
By using 100% managed code written in C#, the Ultimate Bounce Inspector component
takes advantage of the numerous built-in features of the .NET Framework to enhance
performance, moreover, the component is CLS compliant, and it does not use
any unsafe blocks for minimal permission requirements. In addition, the component is highly compatible with Microsoft ClickOnce.
Supports many .NET Platforms
Ultimate Bounce Inspector Component for .NET supports the following platforms:
- Windows Forms
- Web Forms
- Web Services
In addition, it is also possible to use the component in
PowerShell - Microsoft’s new command console and scripting language.
Ultimate Bounce Inspector is fully compatible with Visual Studio 2005 to 2013 (.NET 2.0 to .NET 4.5.1). As a benefit, you are always up-to-date with Microsoft's Technologies when using our products.
Supports event-driven (Asynchronous) and blocking (Synchronous) Design
Most applications written with the Bounce Inspector component will be synchronous.
Synchronous method gives you the ease-of-use, but it can only returns the control
back to the caller after it has finished, meaning that it blocks the execution of
the caller for a period of time. Using synchronous method is recommended when you
only need to execute one Bounce Inspector operation at a time.
You might decide that your design requires an asynchronous inspection when it is
needed to inspect bounced email messages simultaneously. Asynchronous methods provide a great deal
of power. Asynchronous method is executed on a thread separate from the calling
thread. Such operation is useful when a Bounce Inspector operation is time consuming
and other codes need to execute without waiting for the initial operation to complete.
In addition, the user interface will be most responsive when asynchronous methods
The Bounce Inspector component has been designed with a great degree of flexibility
and can be used with a wide variety of programming languages and different types
of development environments. Available as a managed .NET class, it is fully supported
by languages such as Visual Basic, Visual C#, J#, Managed C++,
Borland C# Builder, and Delphi.
As important as functionality, features and stability are, comprehensive documentation
is equally as important to the application developer. This is why the ComponentPro
Bounce Inspector for .NET product includes a Developer's Guide and a complete Technical
Reference which documents every property, method and event supported by
the component. A printable version of the documentation is included with the product,
as well as context-sensitive online help which can be accessed directly from within
the development environment.
Lots of samples in VB.NET, C#, and ASP.NET
In addition to the fully documented Developer's Guide and a complete Technical Reference,
Ultimate Bounce Inspector component also includes a number of samples with
full source code which help you become familiar with the features of
the component and provide code which you can re-use in your own applications.
ComponentPro understands today's software development requirements which often require
support for multiple operating systems and different programming languages. As with
all ComponentPro components, the product is licensed to a single developer, and
applications built using the Bounce Inspector component can be redistributed to as many end-users as
needed without additional royalties or runtime licensing fees. Developers
are also permitted to install the product on different development systems as long
as they are the only one using it and there is no chance that it can be used by
more than one developer at the same time.
