  • Do you offer discounts to educational and non-profit organizations?

    Yes, we offer discounts to established educational, non-profit and charity entities provided that you purchase directly from us. Our standard discount is 10% and can be applied to any product license. These special discounts cannot be combined with any other type of discount.

    To qualify for the discount, you need to send us a document clearly indicating that you are a member of the respective institution. An official e-mail from your official account which bears your signature is sufficient in most cases.

  • Do you offer competitive upgrades?

    Yes, we do offer competitive upgrades. Please contact the sales team at sales@componentpro.com for more information and mention (1) the competing products that you own at the moment, and (2) the ComponentPro licenses to which you wish to upgrade.

  • How can I place an order online?

    The fastest and easiest way to obtain a Ultimate product license is through our online store: www.componentpro.com/purchase/

    • After you select a license you will be asked to review and agree to the License Agreement.
    • On the following screen you will be prompted to enter your billing information and the end-user (the person who will own and manage the license) information.
    • Finally you will be prompted to enter your payment details.
    • Within a couple of minutes after placing the order you will receive an automatic purchase confirmation letter.

  • What is VAT ID and where do I enter it?

    Private customers from EU member states must pay VAT on purchases of electronically-delivered products. If your company resides in the European Union and has a valid VAT ID, please enter this information in the VAT ID field of the online order form. If you do not enter a VAT ID, you will be recognized as a private customer and the VAT rate for your country will be added to the basic price of the software. Corporate and/or private customers from USA and other non-EU countries are NOT affected by this regulation.

  • Do you work with resellers?

    Yes, we do. If you would like to place an order through one of our resellers, please visit our Resellers page for more information.

  • How do I renew my Subscription?

    Shortly before your subscription expires in a year after your purchase, we will send you an invitation to renew. We send 4 Subscription reminder e-mails (2 months, 1 month, 2 weeks and 1 week prior to expiration). In order to renew, login to Your Account and click on Renewals and Upgrades.

  • How can I check my upgrade options?

    We offer upgrades from a non-Subscription License to the Developer License with Subscription and Priority Support and from any product to the Ultimate Studio License. The upgrade price changes depending on how much time after your original order date you purchase your upgrade.

    Please contact sales@componentpro.com to review your upgrade options and pricing. Depending on what license you originally purchased and when you bought it, the upgrade price may differ.

  • What payment methods do you accept?

    As payment methods we accept the following payment methods:

    • Secure Online Credit Card.
    • Wire Transfer.
    • Phone.
    • Fax.
    • Mail / Check / Money Order.
    • Purchase Order. Please follow the instructions here.
    • Skrill (MoneyBookers).
    • Local Bank Transfer.

  • What types of credit cards do you accept?

    We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, JCB, Diners Club and Carte Blanche. The advantage of using a credit card to make your payment is that your order will be processed immediately and you will be able to download the software without delay. If your CC is not mentioned in the list above, you can also choose another payment method listed above.

  • We want to make a wire transfer. What currencies do you accept?

    We accept wire transfers only in US dollars. Bank account information will be included in your invoice.

  • How do I receive the invoice for my purchase?

    Once your order is finalized, you will receive an email receipt for the payment.

    In case you need an official PDF invoice, you can download the invoice through your account (the account under which the purchase has been made). When you login you need to go to: "Your Account" >> "Billing History", and from there you will be able to download an invoice for any of your orders.

  • Do you offer refunds?

    We are very proud that only a few customers have requested a refund because we provide a quality experience:

    • Our trials are fully functional
    • Our trial license includes thirty days of free Technical Support, so you can contact our technical support team
    • Our products are well-documented and they are supplemented with a vibrant, active on-line community

    If for some reason you are not satisfied, you may cancel your order within 45 days of the purchase and receive a full refund. To cancel an order, please e-mail us at sales@componentpro.com with the reason(s) why you are requesting a refund, and a member of our team shall respond promptly to your inquiry.

  • How do you license your Developer licenses?

    Our Developer Licenses allow 1 developer to work with the design-time product. If you purchase a license for multiple products, i.e. Ultimate Studio license, still only 1 developer would be able to use the ComponentPro tools.

    The Developer Licenses are perpetual and have NO deployment limitations - they allow the use of our controls for an unlimited number of applications spanning various servers and domains. In contrast to competitive products, the ComponentPro Developer License works WITHOUT license keys and you can be certain that you will never get a license key error.

  • I purchased a Developer License a couple of weeks before your major version release. Am I eligible for a free upgrade?

    Yes, we offer free major version product updates if your subscription has not expired.

  • What are the advantages of the License with Subscription?

    The Developer License with Subscription and Priority Support is the best choice for professional developers. Below you will find the reasons why our customers prefer this licensing option:

    - 1 Year Subscription - enjoy a full year of free updates and take advantage of the latest and greatest Ultimate products. ComponentPro has the most aggressive product roadmap releasing new products and updates 2 times per year. The subscription renewal price is only 50% of the list price of the Subscription License.

    - Source Code - the license provides you with full C# source code.

    - Priority Support Package - As a Subscription holder you get our Priority Support Package which guarantees that your support inquiries will be answered within 12h (Mon-Fri). Please make sure you include your Priority Support ID in your request.

    All the above benefits are not available with the standard Developer License. If you purchase a license without subscription, you will only receive the Service Pack releases for the version you purchased. You will not receive the next official release version. You will not be entitled to source code access. The Developer License comes with Standard Support Package - the guaranteed response time is 48h (Mon-Fri).

  • Are the support packages different for the different licenses?

    Yes, each license has a different support package.

  • What happens with my support package when my subscription expires?

    Both the Standard and Priority support packages expire after 1 year. If you want to renew your support, you need to renew/purchase a subscription license for one of the suites. If you decide not to renew your support package, you will still be able to use the forum and KB articles, but you will not be able to take advantage of the on-line ticketing system or e-mail support.

  • Can I use the product(s) after my subscription expires?

    You can continue using the products that were licensed to you during the subscription term even after the subscription expires. In case you would like to continue to receive product updates and support, you need to renew your subscription.

  • Which license should I purchase if I want to buy the Source code?

    The source code is available with the Developer License with Subscription and Priority Support. To note, as part of the license you will also receive source code updates during the 1 year subscription term.

  • How does your licensing handle redistribution rights?

    Our developer licenses are royalty free - the licensed developer can use our tools in:

    • Internal projects for your company
    • SaaS applications
    • Applications that are deployed to end-user computers
    • Open-source projects but our source code must not be disclosed and if any customers of your open-source projects want to use the projects for commercial perposes must pay appropriate licenses of our products.

  • How is the software delivered?

    The fastest and easiest way to obtain a Ultimate product license is through our online store: www.componentpro.com/purchase/

    The software is delivered electronically. If you would like the physical shipment, please contact sales@componentpro.com before you place an order.

    Should you need any assistance with downloading the software, please do not hesitate to contact sales@componentpro.com.

  • How do I obtain my credentials for my customer account and download the software?

    After placing an order you should receive 2 e-mails: one with payment information and another one with software download instructions.

    In case you do not have an active account with ComponentPro, you will also receive an email with an activation link, through which you will be able to set your password.

    The e-mail with software download instructions will be sent to the License Holder's email account specified in the order form. It will contain the license holder's login credentials and download instructions. This e-mail should arrive within 15 minutes after you placed the order.

    You will be able to download the software from Your Account. You will only need to follow the instructions in the order confirmation e-mail sent to the end-user.

  • How quickly is the software delivered?

    The software is delivered electronically and delivery time is immediate. If you have placed the order online, you will receive the order confirmation e-mail with software download instructions within minutes. You will be able to download the purchased software from Your Account.

    If you have sent us a Purchase Order, please allow 24 hours for processing.
