Do not save user's passwords in plaintext!

0

It looks like your support forum is saving the user's passwords in plaintext somewhere. I realized this after receiving an e-mail from the page containing my plaintext password. Please stop doing so, this is very bad and decreases trust into the page and the software engineers behind Component Pro a lot.

Best regards,

D.R.

The old system had that issue. Our new website system has solved it. The password is stored in `SHA256` hashed format. Even us can't decrypt any password. The only way to retrive the password is to reset it. When that request is initiated, an email notification is sent to the owner to ensure that he/she acknowledges the reset request.
