Using SFTP Async methods as part of a WCF Web Service

0
Has anyone used the Async methods and event handler in a WCF Web Service? It appears that the HostKeyVerifying event handler does not get called when an FTP server requests a fingerprint. I think this is because WCF Web Service do not support event handlers. Is there anyone other way of having the CPRO call the client event handler when CPRO in used as part of the Web Service?

So I found a solution in case other people run into this. Don't use an IIS Web Service, use a Self Hosted Windows Service where events are supported. This way the HostKeyVerifying event handler gets called.

Not sure how you tried to reproduce this error. You would have had to create a WCF web service and within the web service try and connect to an SFTP server that wants to check a fingerprint. Even though you setup the HostKeyVerifying event handler, in a web service that event handler does not get called. If you did that and the event handler gets called then I must be doing something wrong on my side. If you could add a way to specify a callback function for the HostKeyVerifying in CPRO (in addition to even handler) it may work.

We were not able to reproduce this issue. Can you send us an example to reproduce this issue?
